Your visit, step by step

Most of our patients travel to Istanbul for treatment. The whole process, from first message to flying home, is planned around you and usually takes five to seven days in the city.

  1. Private online consultation

Send us a message describing your situation. The doctor reviews it and speaks with you by video or phone, in English or through an Arabic-speaking coordinator. You receive a clear opinion on whether a prosthesis is right for you, which type, and a fixed all-inclusive price.

  2. Planning your trip

We fix a surgery date around your schedule, send an invitation letter if you need a visa, and arrange your hotel and airport transfers. You know the full itinerary before you book a flight.

  3. Arrival and pre-operative checks

A driver meets you at Istanbul airport. The day before surgery you meet the doctor in person, complete blood tests, ECG and an anaesthesia review, and go through the consent in your language.

  4. Surgery

The operation takes about one hour under general or spinal anaesthesia in a fully equipped private hospital. The doctor uses a minimally invasive infrapubic or penoscrotal approach with a single small incision.

  5. Hospital stay and first check

You stay one night in the hospital. The next morning the doctor checks the wound, removes the catheter and you return to your hotel with written aftercare instructions and a direct line to the team.

  6. Follow-up and flying home

A second check two to four days later confirms healing, then you are cleared to fly. Activation of the implant and further follow-up happen by video from home at four to six weeks.

What the all-inclusive price covers

  • Surgeon, anaesthesia and hospital fees
  • The prosthesis itself, with the brand and model named in your quote
  • One night in hospital and all pre-operative tests
  • Airport and hospital transfers
  • Arabic and English speaking coordinator throughout
  • Follow-up video consultations for one year

Flights and hotel are booked by you, or by us at cost if you prefer.

The city

Istanbul is part of the treatment

You recover in a city that Gulf visitors already know and love: a few hours from home, familiar in its daily rhythm, and easy to enjoy at a gentle pace between your appointments.

Close to home

Around four hours by direct flight from Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, with several departures every day, so a companion can join you or fly back early.

Simple entry

Gulf passports enter Türkiye easily. We confirm the current rules for your passport when we set your dates, and send an invitation letter if one is needed.

Feels familiar

A mosque within walking distance of your hotel, Turkish and Arab cuisine side by side, and Arabic widely understood in hotels, restaurants and shops.

Good for family

Many patients bring their wife or a relative. Family-friendly hotels, shopping and the Bosphorus make the trip pleasant for them while you rest.

Recovery-friendly outings

Your programme has quiet days built in. A seated Bosphorus cruise, a short walk in Sultanahmet or an evening by the water in Ortaköy suit them well. The doctor tells you exactly what to avoid.

Mild seasons

Spring and autumn are pleasant. Summer is warm but far cooler than the Gulf, and winter is cool with some rain, so treatment works well in any month.

Questions about the visit

Is my information kept private?

Yes. Your message goes only to the doctor and the patient coordinator. We do not share your details with anyone, and your photos and medical records are never published.

How long do I need to stay in Istanbul?

Plan for five to seven days: one day for pre-operative checks, the surgery day with one night in hospital, and a few days of rest before the second check that clears you to fly. Later follow-up is done by video call from home.

How much does it cost?

The price depends on the type of implant and your medical situation, so we quote after the consultation. Every quote is a fixed all-inclusive figure covering the implant, surgeon, anaesthesia, hospital stay, tests, transfers and follow-up. There are no additional charges afterwards.

Do I need to speak English or Turkish?

No. An Arabic-speaking coordinator is with you at every consultation, at the hospital and by WhatsApp throughout your stay. All documents are provided in Arabic or English.

Can I see Istanbul during my visit?

Yes. Your stay has quiet recovery days built in, and gentle outings are usually fine from the second or third day after surgery: a seated cruise on the Bosphorus, a short walk through Sultanahmet, or dinner by the water in Ortaköy. Your coordinator arranges a private car and a guide if you want one, and the doctor tells you exactly what to avoid, such as long walks, stairs and lifting.

Is Istanbul a good place for my family to come with me?

Yes, and many patients bring their wife or a relative. Istanbul is about four hours from the Gulf by direct flight, Arabic is widely understood, and there are family-friendly hotels, shopping and Bosphorus views close to the clinic. Your coordinator can plan outings for your family on the days you need to rest, and the hotel we book has room for them to stay with you.
